RN, BA, BN. PNC(C)
After graduating from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Visual Arts in 2005, Shannon decided to switch gears and moved to Calgary to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated from the Bachelor of
Nursing (Accelerated Track) Nursing program in 2008 and
immediately began her career of caring for Mums & Babies.
She has worked in multiple hospitals over the years as a Labour
& Delivery/Antenatal nurse, both in high risk and low risk centres,
including Calgary’s Foothills Hospital, Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital and
Peterborough’s own PRHC. Shannon has also had the privilege of working for
Maternal Fetal Medicine in Calgary, which began her interest in caring for
women during their prenatal journey, which has ultimately led her here to join
the amazing team at PIPC.
